• What type of franchise is available?

  We franchise the right for you to establish and operate a third-party warranty service company. The PHWS system is designed to provide services to builders, and to allow them to outsource the warranty services portion of their business.

• How much does the franchise cost?

  The estimated initial investment for a franchise is $97,750 to $146,825.

• How much is the fee for continuing support services?

  The continuing services or “royalty” fee is 7% of your gross sales and is to be paid monthly. This fee entitles you to use the PHWS service mark, plus the use of our distinctive system, marketing assistance, ongoing business development and counseling and other benefits that come with being a PHWS franchise.

• Will I have an exclusive territory?

  Yes. We will grant you a territory (called a “service area”) defined by zip codes, counties or other physical, political or natural boundaries.

• What about advertising?

  PHWS’ name and reputation are important parts of our business. Franchisees must spend a minimum of $1,000 to $3,000 on grand-opening advertising during the first three months of operations. You must also spend at least 2% of your gross sales per month or $1,000 on local advertising.

• How much training is provided?

  The initial training covers all material aspects of operating a PHWS franchise, and is comprised of both classroom and on-the-job training.

• What is the term of the franchise agreement?

  The initial term is 10 years from the date that the franchise agreement is signed. The franchise is renewable for two more successive terms of 10 years each, providing that you have complied with the provisions of the franchise agreement.
